The Department of Energy site has easy-to-locate sections for educators and for students & kids. The teachers' section contains catalogs for ordering lesson plans by age level, freebies and grants, plus student activities. There are also sections on the science fair and fair projects. The kids' section has activities and links to other sites.

National Museum of Education

The National Museum of Education administers a variety of competitions for students, including the National Gallery for America's Young Inventors, the Sonny Sneed Project Young Entrepreneur Award, and the Bubble Wrap Competition for Young Inventors, among others.
