National Center for Earth and Space Science Education

The National Center for Earth and Space Science Education addresses science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education with a focus on earth and space. Content includes K-12 Education Modules composed of inquiry-based, hands-on lessons at elementary, middle school and high school levels.

NASA Visible Earth

NASA has complied numerous images and animations of Earth from space. Educators can browse the images by state, country, or geographic region; by the satellite used to capture the image; and by such subcategories as astronaut photography, agriculture, and oceans. Nearly all of the images can be downloaded and used free with proper credit to NASA.
