This link contains four segments: Science of Light, Technology of Light, Math of Light, and History of Light. Depending on  the link, there are appropriate activities for elementary all the way through high school. You will find explanations, lessons, and interactive labs to experiment with light concepts.

SuccessLInk

SuccessLink is a valuable resource for Missouri educators. Teaching activities and exemplary programs are recognized and shared freely throughout the state. The SuccessLink web site has a database filled with lessons written by Missouri teachers. Lessons are searchable by subject/grade, Show Me Standards, Grade Level Expectations and keywords. Lessons are performance-based, aligned to state standards and most have an assessment component.

Pathfinder Science

Pathfinder Science is a virtual community that practices mutual respect, embraces diversity, and inspires a passion for learning about the material world through science. It provides numerous links to lesson plans and internet sites with various science-related topics and activities for students to use. Pathfinder also offers a Teachers’ support area for the involvement of research projects.

National Center for Earth and Space Science Education

The National Center for Earth and Space Science Education addresses science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education with a focus on earth and space. Content includes K-12 Education Modules composed of inquiry-based, hands-on lessons at elementary, middle school and high school levels.

Kids Science news Network, students K-5 can get questions answered about math, technology, computers, NASA facts and many more topics.

Linda Hall Library of Science, Engineering, and Technology, The

Linda Hall Library is an independent public library of science, engineering and technology located in Kansas City, Missouri. The public is welcome to use the collections on site without cost. The Library is used extensively by companies, academic institutions and individuals throughout the world. The Library offers tours for school groups.
