Expanding Your Horizons (EYH) immerses young women in the sixth to eighth grades in hands-on experiences in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).  Professional women from STEM careers facilitate workshops and serve as the young women's role models.  The conference features a women keynote speaker. EYH presents science in a way that is exciting, educational and relevant to daily life while fostering career opportunity awareness.  Science Pioneers in conjunction with the Girl Scouts of NE Kansas and NW Missouri conduct this event.  To be held on January 22, 2010 in Science City at Union Station from 6 to 10:30pm.  Registration is required. Registration is limited to the first 400 young women who register. The EYH Expansion Program gives the young women who attend the 2010 EYH Conference an extended opportunity to explore the science, technology, engineering and math careers in hands-on workshops.
